Services

SMA provides its clients with a wide range of environmental consulting services including: environmental litigation support; acquisition and transaction support; site specific risk assessment, fate and transport modeling; database management; visual demonstration; and regulatory compliance.

SMA utilizes conventional investigation methods (e.g., soil borings, monitoring wells) to technologically advanced methods such as CPT/ROST™ and CPT/MIP. The investigation data and analytical results can be uploaded
to an environmental database.
For complex projects, SMA uses
2-dimensional and 3-dimensional software to analyze and display the investigative data.

SMA has implemented technologies ranging from traditional approaches such as excavation and Soil Vapor Extraction (SVE), to more advanced technologies such as Dual Phase Extraction, Permeable Reactive Barriers, Biological Treatment of groundwater and Electrical Resistive Heating (ERH) treatment of clayey soils or DNAPL.
